Delete your BurnRate account
BurnRate is the app name shown on the App Store and Google Play. You can request permanent deletion of your BurnRate account and associated data from inside the app or by email if you no longer have the app installed.
Delete your account in the app
- Open the BurnRate app and sign in.
- Go to Settings.
- Open Privacy.
- Select Delete Account and follow the confirmation steps.
Request deletion without the app
Email support@burnrate.fit from the email address linked to your BurnRate account with the subject line BurnRate account deletion request.
If you cannot email from the account address, include the account email in your message so we can verify ownership before deletion.
What we delete and what we keep
When you request account deletion, BurnRate permanently deletes the following data:
- Account and profile information, including name, email, body metrics, sport type, goals, and race information
- Nutrition and training data, including meals, food logs, workouts, body weight logs, macro targets, and meal adherence
- AI coach conversation history
- Connected service tokens and identifiers, such as Strava connection data if connected
- Meal photos stored by the app
- Push notification tokens associated with your account
We may retain anonymized or aggregated data that cannot identify you, and we may retain limited records where required by law, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or accounting obligations.
Retention period: After we verify and confirm the deletion request, we complete deletion within 30 days.
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Questions can be sent to support@burnrate.fit.
